Come with us now, on a journey through time and space, to the land of Old School RPGs! Gamers of all experience levels welcome!

LAST TIME ON BARBARIANS OF THE RUINED EARTH:

Gorgonzola follows the source of a mysterious noise back to three entrapped magical monkeys and Robo Abe before being captured by the RADcoon chief himself. A deal is struck with one of the baboon sorcerers, Hoth-gar, to assist with un-paralyzing Cratatio, having been tentacled by a lurking carrion crawler, while also, completely coincidently, chasing the RADcoons that had robbed him of all the stuff he had stolen from the fortress above. Entering a six-digit code into one of the teleportation devices delivers the group to The Lost Dungeon of Zelligar, a series of traps and puzzles that leaves them wounded, mostly self inflicted, and naked, after failing to answer a riddle. How much of a jerk is Zelligar?  Find out as  Barbarians of the Ruined Earth continues IN SEARCH OF THE UNKNOWN... now!

WHAT’S THIS?
Barbarians of the Ruined Earth is a quick and easy rules-lite post-apocalyptic heroic fantasy game that is based on the awesome The Black Hack rules by David Black and is inspired by the animated series Thundarr the Barbarian, Mad Max, He-Man, and other sources.

THE CORE MECHANIC
Every action a character might possibly attempt that could result in failure is resolved by testing attribute stats; in order to successfully test a stat, a player must roll below it on a d20. Enemies don’t make tests, instead a character must avoid their attacks by making a test. The only time an enemy would roll is for damage.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL BE A VIRTUAL EVENT!
When you register for the event, please include your e-mail address and your choice for character class. (Character classes include: Barbarian, Death Priest, Scavenger, Urchin, Beastman, Robot, Vek (raptorfolk), and Sorcerer.)

You will need to create an account on roll20 (https://roll20.net/welcome) for the event (It's free!) and audio will be through Zoom. I will contact you before the event to send you one of the pre-generated characters (or you can randomly generate one here) and the links to the game.
