Join the bus tour and learn about activities and people associated with Underground Railroad history in Boone County. Register at the Main Library in Burlington begins August 15th. The cost is $40, cash or check only.
Program check-in begins at 9am. Bus departs at 9:15am from the Main Library in Burlington. The tour will take participants on a journey through Boone County to locations connected to the Underground Railroad. The participants can expect to get on and off the bus at different locations and participate in light walking. Boxed lunch will be provided. The bus is expected to return to the library close to 2:30pm.
